DSI Prophet 12
Introducing the Prophet 12 Sound Patch Library, a library of fresh new sound patches for the Dave Smith Instruments Prophet 12 Synthesizer.
Sold as either single packs containing 1 bank (99 sounds) of patches or double packs containing 2 banks (198 sounds) and focusing on specific elements of the sounds available in the Prophet 12, each pack comes with not only Mod Wheel and Slider position functions but also ‘Stack’ sounds chosen from within the library to work well with the initial patch. We do however still recommend that you also try some of the sounds stacked with factory sounds there are some interesting combinations to be discovered there.
PLEASE NOTE :
All of the samples played are recorded individually with no overdubbing (except for Volume 3 Epic Leads & basses which is obviosly overdubbed as it's a piece of music but the sounds used are not layered or doubled in any way). NO additional effects or sound enhancement was used. This is dry recording straight from the Prophet 12 and any reverb, delay etc is programmed into the sound itself. For all Sound Packs any sound manipulation is carried out using the Mod Wheel, Slider position functions and aftertouch only. No rotary encoders were used or harmed in any way in the production of the examples below.
Due to the website's limitations, the samples below are a selection of sounds played and recorded to MP3 quality only.
